Spice mill pawn 16,5 cm black lacquered beech wood.
They say that the shape of the first spice grinder made by Giulia Bisetti was inspired by a pawn from a game of chess. It was 1945 and a lot of time has passed since then. And someone thought to take that road again, backwards. So Israeli designer Itmar Harari rethought the spice grinders and reinvented them as pieces of a chess game. This model in particular reminds us of the Pawn, but then there are also the King and Queen on our chessboard...
The Bisetti spice grinder mechanism is in ceramics and with the highest resistance and guarantees safe and long term use.
In order to resist corrosion, all the materials are made in stainless steel and aluminium.
All are guaranteed to be in accordance with EC and FDA regulations for contact with foodstuffs.
What is Icons? Simply the best. Products that represent and are reminiscent of timeless lifestyles, come to life in the Bisetti Icons series. A skittle, a football player, a king chess piece are the new designs for pepper and salt mills. Colors, quality of the material and sculpted profiles are trademarks of this collection. Lacquered finishes in a multitude of colors: the black silhouette of a Matryoshka, the vibrant red of a vase, the electric blue of the football player of the Calcetto line, the high quality of the wood, offer a sensorial experience typical of an exotic village for a rare quality-price ratio.
